For maximum damage, upgrading this skill to Supreme Call of the Ancients is recommended several passives should be learned as well to make the Barbarian extra tough, such as Cut to the Bone, Aggressive Resistance, Prolific Fury, and Pressure Point. Level-up points can be spent on any other useful skills, but prioritizing the recommended skills will maximize the best Barbarian build in Diablo 4.
When it comes to pure melee battle prowess, the Barbarian is the best class to use in the game so far. Although it has been criticized for being less powerful than previous Barbarians in other Diablo games, this may be a beta issue. As the only melee-only class, it is to compare the Barbarian with other classes, but it will be interesting to see how they compare to the Druid and if Diablo 4 will add a Crusader class in the future.
